On the H1 chart of GBPUSD the market has been consolidating between the 1.3220 resistance and the 1.3190 support since the 24th June session. A series of higher‑highs was capped by a strong 1.32186 candle with 9.6k volume, confirming bullish momentum. From the 28th June candle the pair failed to hold the 1.3220 level, opening lower and closing near 1.3196 while volume fell sharply to sub‑1k levels.
