On the H1 chart of US100, the Nasdaq 100 index has been trading in a tight range between 30000 and 30450 since the 17th June session. A bullish impulse to 30449.7 on 18th June was met with diminishing volume and a subsequent failure to break above the 30480 resistance, where the candle closed lower at 30389.45. The declining volume on the upward legs and a bearish engulfing pattern at the top signal loss of buying pressure and a shift toward downside momentum.
