Each successive high has been lower (1.1468 → 1.1463 → 1.1455 → 1.1445 → 1.1429) and each low has slipped beneath the previous trough, confirming a classic downtrend. Volume spikes on the sharp drop to 1.14286 and the subsequent bounce to 1.14447 show aggressive participation, but the bounce lacked sustained buying pressure as the next candles closed lower on diminishing volume.
